Ann Berry

Trainer, Consultant, Research/reference

Ann was a Registered Nurse (Adults), Educationalist and a Public Health and Commissioning Manager with 22 years' experience of change management for health and healthcare service improvement across the public care and protection sector, with adults and children's services both in the NHS, Local Authority and Education.

I am enthusiastic and passionate about promoting and improving health and well-being through early intervention and prevention strategies. I have empathy and I try hard not to become less sensitive, as I am aware that my needs and wants of the same as what the collective community needs and wants, and this is necessary to relate to people and in the work that I do.

I believe if there are enough informed sensitive people in enough numbers, with the knowledge and importance of connected relationships, we can overcome collective trauma, develop resilience and change the brains of the next generation and through this action improve the lives of people and communities. My role as a Trainer Consultant for KCA will enable me to do this.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time outdoors and am in awe of the natural environment.
