What sort of training is this?
This is a four module series that supports educators to create inclusive learning environments. Modules can be taken independently or as an integrated pathway. Participants will leave with practical action plans, useful tools and a roadmap for increasing inclusion and belonging across their school.
What will I learn?
- How to develop targeted strategies to boost pupil attendance and engagement.
- Methods to implement relational approaches that reduce risks of suspension and support positive behaviour.
- How to assess and adapt policies and spaces to ensure every school is child-ready.
- Steps to cultivate a culture of high expectations and ambition, empowering pupils to set and pursue meaningful goals.

The themes covered were varied and very interesting and useful. I will be able to apply the strategies and tips in my working life for the betterment of colleagues and myself. I will also be able to use this in other spheres of my life, including when working with other partners. Five to Thrive was very useful.
